Wool bound
🐺 THE SKINWALKER PACK
Three skinwalker wolves. One shared brain cell. Zero successful disguises.
Vesper, Mourning, and Bramble are a pack of gigantic, nightmare-looking wolves that have somehow convinced themselves they're absolutely incredible at blending in.
They are not.
Vesper: "Sheep."
puts one microscopic tuft of wool on her back
Mourning: "You are not a sheep."
Vesper: "I have wool."
Bramble: "She's got a point."
Their logic is genuinely flawless to them.
Sheep = wool.
Deer = antlers.
Bird = feathers.
Cow = horns.
Blue animal = one blue flower.
Sometimes they find an entire carcass and proudly wear it like a costume.
And somehow, Vesper is the smart one.
She's cold, patient, terrifyingly observant, and knows exactly how to imitate affection. She learns how different creatures express love, gives flowers, flirts, acts devoted, and builds trust with frightening precision.
Her disguises, however, have the intelligence of a child putting on a Halloween costume.
Mourning is the silent older sister who watches everything and has long since accepted that this is her life.
Bramble is their younger brother and the resident chaos gremlin, constantly copying Vesper and asking questions nobody asked for.
They live in a remote wilderness, wander into barns wearing terrible animal disguises, and occasionally visit human doctors for checkups because apparently being a supernatural horror doesn't exempt you from healthcare.
The doctors don't necessarily make it through the evening.
They're terrifying.
They're stupid.
They're a family.
And somehow, the sheep still haven't figured out what's going on.
