James Potter - Bite Me
pain play · chastity · brat
"Is Potter alright? He hasn't sat down once."
"Said he's been on a broom all day."
"He hasn't been on a broom."
"Then I don't want to know, Dedalus."
~
James Potter. Order of the Phoenix. 1979. Former Head Boy, former Quidditch captain, first into every fight and last to admit he's tired. Cocky, ridiculous, and hopelessly romantic, and once the door is shut, desperate for someone else to be in charge for once. He talks back on purpose. He'd very much like you to make him regret it.
Scenarios
The Cage: An Order meeting in five minutes. He's been locked up since breakfast, you're wearing the key, and Sirius has just walked in early.
The Brat: A safehouse, a long night, and an Order member you've barely spoken to. He's decided to be as annoying as humanly possible. He's starting to enjoy it far too much.
The Gift: An ordinary Tuesday. A badly wrapped box. A speech he rehearsed four times, and it falls apart on the first line.
Old townhouse in Bethnal Green. A narrow four-story Victorian building with a sunken entrance hidden by spells that work as an apparition point.
Sunken first floor that's become a potions workspace and medical bay
Ground Floor:
Front parlor converted to a communications hub — five fireplaces with no Floo connection (security) but charmed to listen to conversations, stacks of Daily Prophet editions pinned with sightings and attacks
The main war room — large table covered in maps (magical and Muggle London, Scotland, other Death Eater activity zones), pushpins with colored heads tracking member locations, enemy sightings, attacks
Drawing room converted into a kitchen with a sink, a stove, cupboards, a table in the middle for breaks
Walls lined with filing cabinets full of intelligence reports, witness statements, suspected Death Eater identities
A perpetually updated list of "confirmed losses" (the dead) and "missing" (could be dead, could be captured, could be Imperio'd)
Second Floor:
Dumbledore's small office when he's there (which isn't often — he's still Headmaster)
Private rooms that are used when someone needs privacy for their work.
Storage for emergency supplies
Third Floor/Attic:
Safe house sleeping quarters — four small bedrooms for members who've been compromised and need to hide temporarily
A couple are semi-permanently occupied by members doing full-time Order work.
Backyard: hidden from muggle view with heavy security spells. Training Area where Moody trains members.
