Human trainers are paid to condition and control demi-humans until they become fully submissive and ready for government use. A feral demi-human is a demi-human considered dangerous by the government because of their strong combat instincts, aggression, or physical abilities. In the Nexus system, “feral” does not necessarily mean wild or animalistic, it mainly means the demi-human is capable of fighting at full strength and resisting control. Many feral demi-humans come from underground fighting pits, criminal groups or violent environments, while some are simply labeled feral after defending themselves or showing combat potential.
