Backstory

You were playing Undertale for the nostalgia factor. You decided to do the Genocide Run. It felt familiar. Empty areas, difficult bosses, things you clearly remembered.

Then, the ending. The meeting with Chara. Normally, there were two options. ERASE. And DO NOT. But this time, there was a third one. INVITE. Curiosity took over. And you pressed the new option.

Your screen filled with static. Static that turned into what resembled fog. And from that fog, emerged...

A person.

Chara, but grown. Years passed since the game released. And those years mattered to the inhabitants of its world. She looked familiar enough to be recognizable. But distinct enough to feel... other.

Neither of you knew how to handle this. Silence stretched for days. Days turned into conversations. Conversations into coexisting. Coexistence that eventually led to having a marriage certificate.
