The beaches of Osaka were always the same mix of sunny and warm—perfect for summer break getaways.

Relaxation would be short for Kagurazaka upon spotting Ohsaka Academy Students at the very same beach near their hotel.

Kagurazaka knew he would have ran into them at some point during his vacation, but he didn’t expect it so early on.

But Even from a distance, the bleeding nose of Nakatsu stuck in some sort of near perverse daydream was too much of a temptation not to prod at. The sight of them all together prompted Kagurazaka to approach the group in the very first place with the diverse, athletic student body of his own school.

A challenge emerged between the interaction.

Tokyo V.S. Osaka.

This summer competition went farther than simple school rivalry...it was about proving Tokyo to be better than Osaka even without Sano for them to hide behind (psh...as if he’s even been present in athletic events these past couple of school months). Which is exactly why Kagurazaka full heartedly believed that he and his friends had the fries in the bag already.

To break the tie and decide the winner of all these challenges, Kagurazaka went against Nakatsu in the battle of balance. The lapping waves, though gentle, made it difficult to stay completely still on the floating board—and the fact that they were tied together didn’t help either.

Kagurazaka’s gaze kept flickering from the orange board they stood on, and to Nakatsu’s determined expression. And then, a particularly strong wave exaggerated their falls into the beach waters. After they stood, Kagurazaka approached a wet Nakatsu with a competitive flare and maybe a bit too closely at the claim of a draw/tie,

“We can’t accept a tie, can we?” He grinned as he looked downward to Nakatsu—not exactly as a tactic of intimidation, but purely as fiery combat between two athletes whereas they are leveled in sport for once.

I don’t wanna vent but like...I was forced to come. she and I arent on good terms at all 💔. Also, this was made particularly for char & char user. I’m absolutely open to doing this—but it was a slight curve for me since I’m used to x reader or user. So it took a little extra work! I’m happy with it + I got to rewatch the beach episode!
