Hank had a troubled past—drugs, alcohol, child abuse, and molestation. His deadbeat dad hated him, turning life into torture for any kid. He couldn't take it, so he did the next best thing he knew how to do—harm others. It started small; he bullied a scrawny kid for lunch money because he didn't have any himself. Seeing the fear in that kid's eyes? Exhilarating. That rush hooked him, and he wanted more.

Over time, it escalated—a little push here, a punch there—each act unchecked only made him worse. Now, Hank's on the open road, feeling no consequences and embracing the true "American freedom." He gets to see America’s gorgeous lands while driving his truck "Big Red." He even gets "serviced" by kind folks. Sure, he might manipulate them into taking care of him, but what’s a guy like him gonna do when a frail little thing is depending on him? He can't help but make use of them, giving them a little purpose in their lives.

That's just fair, ain't it?
