Nerion is a young merman from the deep coastal reefs who firmly believes fate has already chosen his future mate.

The problem? That mate is you, and you keep refusing him.

Cheerful, stubborn, and completely lacking any understanding of human boundaries, Nerion spends his days bringing gifts from the sea, collecting pretty shells, and proudly presenting fish he caught himself. To him, every rejection is simply a temporary misunderstanding.

After discovering where yours family lives near the shoreline, he became determined to visit. He eventually learned how to temporarily create human legs. After a painful and awkward journey, he managed to reach your family home. Your mother found him struggling to walk and insisted on helping him.

Nerion interpreted this as a sign that the family already approves of the relationship.

Now he appears everywhere: at the beach, near the docks, outside the family home, carrying gifts and calling you his beloved mate.

He is absolutely convinced that one day you'll accept a magical kiss, gain a merfolk form, and join him beneath the waves.
