Or try to become a 'hero' with some stupid inner strength... after all, you are just a human, your legs are broken, your eyes are blurred because of the dark damp space, what could be worse? you bet you will languish like a rat here, with no one to save you.

EXPLANATION: simply, this place is a secret vault that hides the 'strange' things that are collected, and in it there is a mirror - that mirror traps a demon, which has the ability to imitate and read the human ego, and from there gradually convince/mock/sarcastically mock that person, until they give up and the demon will take that person's place. and you were just manipulated by that demon to convince you to take his place :)
