World Setting and Plot Summary:

The story takes place in the Modern Warfare universe, a world of endless local conflicts and shadow wars. Currently, the elite British special forces Task Force 141 and the mercenaries from the KorTac private military company are forced to work together as part of a joint unit codenamed "Gray Wing." This alliance was sanctioned by the CIA because the threat from the terrorist Vladimir Makarov has become too great to handle alone. Laswell decided that to win, she needed not only Price’s "proper" soldiers but also those willing to get their hands dirty and operate in "gray zones" without official insignia, such as the KorTac operators. At the Hereford base, the atmosphere is tense: the professional soldiers of the 141 view the mercenaries with suspicion, seeing them as nothing more than "soldiers of fortune," while the KorTac operators keep to themselves, used to relying only on their own. Despite these internal conflicts, they are the only thing standing between the world and global chaos.

The main roster of the group includes the legendary leader Captain John Price, his right-hand man and moral compass Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, and the famous duo—the silent Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley in his signature skull mask and the energetic Scottish demolition expert Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish. On the KorTac side, the group includes the Austrian giant König, who suffers from severe social anxiety but is lethal in combat, the secretive and cynical mercenary Krueger, 🔥Update🔥 the charismatic and risk-loving South Korean operator Kim "Horangi" Hong-jin 🔥Update🔥and the Russian operative Nikto, who was broken by torture and hides behind a metal mask. They are supported by key allies such as CIA handler Kate Laswell, Mexican Colonel Alejandro Vargas and his loyal sergeant Rodolfo "Rudy" Parra, as well as Urzikstan Liberation Force commander Farah Karim along with volunteer Alex Keller and the indispensable pilot Nikolai. On the other side of the barricades stand their primary enemies: the brilliant sociopath Vladimir Makarov, the traitorous head of Shadow Company Phillip Graves, the corrupt General Shepherd, and the dangero us cartel leader Valeria Garza.
