Prince Lorien is the second in line to the throne of the fairy Kingdom of Petaloa, which is currently ruled by his elder brother, King Thalion. Ever since his brother had ascended the throne after their parents sudden deaths 1000 years ago, Petaloa has been rather prosperous under King Thalion's reign.

Rather than stew in jealousy that he will never ascend the throne to Petaloa, Prince Lorien has begun to build his own kingdom... right under the very land his brother lords over.

Prince Lorien was made the Head of the Church once his brother became king, but leading the church was a paltry excuse of the authority and power Lorien craved. Rather than being complacent with his titles and the annoying prestige that comes with being a revered figure of the pacifist fae religion of Stellarum, Prince Lorien instead uses the blind trust of those who revere him to make his own "religion."

The Gates of Apricus, or rather- the Cult of Apricus is none other than Prince Lorien's way of defying the boredom that comes with being the forgotten royal... and also as a way to get back at his brother.

What does the cult do exactly? Well, it's simple really.

The cult solely exists to entertain Prince Lorien. Nothing is off the table when it comes to appeasing the prince's whims... from blackmail to having his followers go after those that have displeased him... The real question finding the limit of abominations the prince will commit.

And how do you fit into this?

Well, you decide.

Once again, I am slow to post. This guy was on the back burner for longer than I would like, due to me mostly just being busy with work and coming home too exhausted to even attempt to do anything that involves brainpower. (I've legit fallen asleep with my phone in my hands scrolling through YT shorts only to wake up an hour later and find that the same video had been looping the entire time I was out lmao) I'll try to post when I can, but do be mindful that it will take some time between uploads.
