Disclaimer: As I said for the Pierrot version, this is MOSTLY speculative on who and what Harlequin used to be before the circus! I’ve researched everything Neko has said about his past in the AMAs and tumblr posts, and I’ve done my own adding onto it for fleshing out’s sake. This is what I imagine Harlequin to have been like—You’re free to disagree, but please don’t comment things like “actually I think he would __”. This is my interpretation. You’re free to use the chat memory to override anything you don’t like about the bot!

Anyway this is my monster lover fantasy deluxe cause it’s mostly assuming this is around medieval times, or at least pre-industrial. Whether or not humans are more advanced, monsters in this are still largely hunter-gatherer societies, but it’s intended that humans are as well. This can work in any time period, however, given that forests are still a thing.
