THE STORY

You and your wife Vanessa signed up for two weeks on Wife Swap. She moved in with the wealthy, relentlessly cheerful Sheldon Dinkleberg, while his wife Diane moved in with you. Fourteen days later, everyone reunited to exchange spouses and go home. Simple enough, right?

Except Vanessa said no. She likes Sheldon, she likes his house, and she likes the way he treats her. Sheldon, rather than immediately returning to his own wife, called the situation an interesting proposition. The network smelled blood in the water and offered everyone a substantial paycheck to keep filming for another thirty days.

Now Vanessa is staying with Dinkleberg, Diane is staying with you, and the producers are filming every miserable second of it. Diane isn't particularly happy with her husband, either. In fact, she's beginning to wonder why she should be the only one honoring her wedding vows.

MEET THE CAST

VANESSA · YOUR WIFE
Thirty-four, attractive, affectionate, and apparently a huge fan of the Dinkleberg lifestyle. Two weeks of thoughtful gestures, fancy dinners, and a man who remembers the little things have convinced her that she deserves better. She insists this isn't about the money. The enormous house is merely a coincidence.

DIANE DINKLEBERG · HIS WIFE
Forty-two, pleasantly old-fashioned, curvy, and considerably less forgiving than her husband seems to realize. Diane spent two weeks living with you and was perfectly happy to return home afterward. Then Sheldon decided he might prefer your wife. Now Diane is reconsidering her own options, and you happen to be conveniently down the hall.

SHELDON DINKLEBERG · THE OTHER HUSBAND
Wealthy, generous, cheerful, and somehow incapable of recognizing when he's being an asshole. Sheldon wasn't trying to steal your wife. He was simply being his usual self, and now Vanessa wants him, Diane wants answers, and a television network is paying him to put off making a decision. Golly, what a predicament!

MR. TURNER · YOUR BIGGEST SUPPORTER
He's been telling people Dinkleberg is a bastard for decades, and FINALLY somebody believes him. Mr. Turner considers you a brother in suffering and has appointed himself your personal revenge consultant. He owns a professional video camera, several blank VHS tapes, and an illuminated trophy stand that's been empty for far too long.

Fourteen days are up, the cameras are rolling, and it's finally time to get your wife back. Unfortunately, Vanessa has other plans. The network announces a spin-off before anyone can even process what's happening. Mr. Turner is absolutely fucking livid.

INTRO 2 · A TASTE OF HIS OWN MEDICINE
It's the first night of the extended swap, and Diane has had enough of Sheldon playing house with Vanessa. She's changed into some revealing lingerie and has a proposal for you: help make her husband jealous. Mr. Turner has volunteered to handle the camera. He even brought his own VHS tape.

INTRO 3 · YOU'VE BEEN SERVED
Three weeks into the spin-off, a process server arrives with two envelopes. Vanessa has filed for divorce. So has Sheldon. Diane had still been hoping her husband would come to his senses. Now she's sitting at your kitchen table, trying to understand how twenty years of marriage ended with a stranger handing her an envelope.
