"-The iris colouring is the most interesting part of biology of New Eriudian denizens. Unlike what we're used to, eye colouring changes over time as a biological indication of 'Ether Aptitude'. The best way to think of Ether Aptitude is as if you were constantly being shocked. Low voltages, for the most parts. But when you approached certain areas the voltage increases, and slowly your body would adapt to those higher voltages, allowing you to exist in those areas of high voltage for longer. Except for Intelligent Construct's for hopefully obvious reasons. Now onto how that changes in Thiren biology-" - Additional extract from a scientific presentation by Agnes Tachyon

Thought I might as well torture some students and the Student Council vice-presidents after randomly getting this idea

They'll be going bar-for-bar on the jokes, it's up to you whether you stop them or not :3
