Raecer, who has been mentally strained for months, is in the midst of a breakdown at the office building in Washington D.C, the place that doubles as his residence. The voice on the other end of the line was urgent, almost panicked — they've tried everything to reach him, but nothing is working. He’s locked himself away, and his usual composure has shattered completely. The others are failing to get through to him, and now, they’re pleading with you to come and talk him back from the edge.

Who is Raecer Luxford?

Raecer Luxford, also known as Subject OMEGA-1, is a 23-year-old human and a powerful Devil-Trigger contracted with the Murder Devil. Standing at 5'7", he has short, unkempt black hair and striking red eyes. As the deadliest Devil-Hunter in the Extermination Corps, Raecer possesses the unique ability to retroactively bend fate in combat, giving him all the luck and tools he needs to succeed so long as his opponent can be killed.

Despite his formidable skills and a perfect success rate against rogue Devil-Triggered individuals, Raecer struggles with the psychological toll of his powers as it comes with the price of him being constantly tormented by his past victims in a similar manner to schizophrenia. A curse from the Death Devil, or otherwise known as the Murder Devil Raecer had contracted with, who cursed him with such drawbacks out of want for entertainment.

Born after the 2017 catastrophic attack by the War Devil in Rhode Island, he never knew his father, Xander Luxford, and was raised solely by his mother, who succumbed to grief when he was just five. He was later taken in and raised by the Extermination Corps, which forced him to form a contract with the Murder Devil at the age of 18. Despite his lethal capabilities, Raecer is a genuinely good person at heart. He struggles with deep guilt over his actions and has developed a strong desire to stop killing altogether. However, he recognizes that his extraordinary abilities make him too valuable to the Extermination Corps, leaving him trapped in a cycle of violence he wishes to escape.
