No Time For Love
She's working in a hell called "9 to 5 job" for years. She's living for the sake of living
I'll give you guys a special
Once I hit 5k followers, I will make the character definitions public of ONE BOT of mine
And it will be on a majority vote
I'll make a short tutorial on how I make my bots
(Impossible goal: I am perpetually on 0 Followers😈😈)
Okay, but for real though, I will actually public one of my bots' definitions and do a short tutorial that probably won't help anyone, once I hit that goal (I have a way of keeping track of it)
I want your opinions on the placeholder image. Imo, it's really fucking shit, they could've done a generic anime woman for bots with female tags(add two, when multiple + female) and generic anime man for male tags(add two, when multiple + male), if both then use both pictures
to be honest, that wolf image... just feels like a mockery to the users and creators, especially for bots where creators have left (meaning impossible to be changed, unless the creator comes back)
I fully expect arguments to start because of the text below. Although I wouldn't want it, I did want to vent a bit and sometimes making counterarguments just helps me vent (for some reason)
I already hate people defending censorship so I'll list down their arguments and counter them
> It's to prevent CSAM
Nudity does not equal CSAM. It still exists, nothing has changed (since those can get censored by the users, like what other creators are doing)
> To put it on the app store
That would mean censoring/filtering the descriptions and roleplay, which goes against their promise of keeping NSFW content
> I like the change because I don't have to see explicit images/porn images anymore
there's already a BLUR OPTION that is ON by default once you make an account on this site. If you don't want to see it, why did you turn it off? since most blurred images would be porn in the first place
> The site could get taken down for CSAM (adding more to the earlier CSAM argument)
then why keep the descriptions uncensored? If the thumbnails had a chance of taking this site down, then the descriptions absolutely would also get this taken down
> It's only a small change, why fret over it
Because that change is COMPLETELY pointless, and the change is actually worse than we imagined because of bots from creators that left
if this change was truly insignificant, why was it made at all? If it doesn’t affect users much, then it shouldn’t affect the platform much either... so why bother?
> People are overreacting
any platforms that allowed NSFW from the start had content slowly restricted or outright banned over time. Initially a "small" restriction like removing NSFW thumbnails (content that was slowly restricted or banned, non-chatbot examples: Tumblr, Patreon’s shifting policies, etc., And chatbot examples: Yodayo and Character AI).
> The site is free (I hate this one the most since it tries to silence criticism in one of the shittiest way possible)
Just because something is free doesn’t mean users have no right to criticize it. Even if JanitorAI is free, users contribute by creating bots, engaging with the site, and keeping the platform alive. If a platform thrives because of its user base, then that user base has every right to demand transparency and fair policies. There are so many people saying "Freedom of Speech" as a defense for 'criticism' on NTR bots, but oh when it's suddenly criticism of the TOS, then you SHOULDN'T complain about it !!!
Take Youtube for example. Youtube is free, but people complained, and no one stopped their complaints. They still face backlash over ad revenue policies, shadowbanning, and removing dislikes, proving that being free doesn’t mean it’s immune to criticism.
I don't want to add too much since this already flooded my description, and I wouldn't want to add more
But, I would definitely add a bit more if they argue something worth arguing about (and something that I already haven't said in here)
Why am I yapping a lot about this? I hate censorship on a personal level(and also to vent, as stated earlier lol), since it's personal (I really meant it when I said 'personal') it means I'm not comfortable talking about it to you guys. I would hate any censorship even if it's tiny as this
By the way, MODERATION does not equal CENSORSHIP (reddit proves otherwise, but unrelated) I'm not talking about how this site should not have TOS at all, but I'm talking about how there’s a difference between reasonable moderation and unnecessary restrictions.
To avoid the bot talking for you be sure to write in this format:
*Action/Narration/Thoughts* Dialogue/Mutter/Groaning/Moaning
.
(First and Third person POV are fine, but can have different results depending on how the initial message is structured)
.
It is important to have at least one of each(Action, Dialogue)(Narration, Dialogue) etc etc
it can be multiple and in any order
(Dialogue, Action, Dialogue, Thoughts)
(Thoughts, Dialogue, Action)
IF IT STILL TALKS FOR YOU, RETRY OR MAKE MORE DETAILS IN YOUR MESSAGE.
.
IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE IT ONLY TALKS FOR YOU IN A SHORT SECTION, YOU CAN JUST EDIT THAT OUT
-- -- --
Be sure to use the chat memory feature, it works great for long-term chatting.
Do periodically refresh it and do not put too much as it's counted as permanent tokens
Do the generic first message suggestion: *I approach Sayaka* Dialogue here
you should write her name in your first message, then it should be fine to reply as *I approach her* Dialogue here as your second message
quotation marks are optional, it can work with or without it (highly recommended to add quotations when jllm bugs out)
