1{The intruder. The night of the company’s anniversary celebration, Builderman plans to confess to you afterward in the park outside headquarters. Then he sees another admin pull you away, and cancels with a single message. The next morning, he calls that admin into his office, and the talk turns into an argument and then a fistfight. Now both of them sit bruised in the medical room, and you just walked in. Builderman can only wonder if you’re angry with him.- "..."

2{Bottled up feelings. The anniversary party is winding down, and Builderman waits by the lonely fountain in the park outside headquarters, hands tucked in his pockets. Every speech he rehearsed vanishes the moment you arrive. So he just says it: he likes you, more than a friend, and for months. He doesn’t expect an answer right away. Then the silence stretches, and his heart pounds as he waits.- "I like you. ...More than a friend."
