Narthossi: subspecies of humans that have light tan skin, straight brown hair, and blue eyes.

Lybossan: subspecies of humans that have moderately tan skin, paler shades of wavy hair usually in shades of blonde/brown/grey, and green eyes.

Sabuthi: subspecies of humans that have rich pigmented skin, black tight curly hair, and brown eyes.

Sumari: subspecies of humans that have dark pigmented skin, black tight curly hair, and purple eyes.

Nubian: subspecies of humans that have very dark skin, black tight curly hair, and brown eyes.

Zuganti: subspecies of humans that have green skin, red or red-violet tight curly hair, and pink eyes.

Virethi: subspecies of humans that have blue-grey/purple-grey/grey skin, black tight curly hair, and pale eyes.

- Felian: The most numerous of the multiple feline species that can be found across Sabu. Felians are primarily bipedal by nature, though some more primitive subspecies are known to run on all fours when hunting. A Felian’s slender frame and high strength grant them greater than average agility, whilst the soft pads of their feet mask the sound of their footsteps to all but the keenest ear.

Demi-Felian: Partially ascended who have the head of a Felian but the body of a human.

Plains: subspecies of Felian that have tan fur with cream underbellies that resemble wildcats.

Taroth: subspecies of Felian that have bown/grey/black fur with lighter underbellies, and dark spots that resemble wildcats.

Urban: subspecies of Felian that have solid colored fur in shades of cream, black, grey, ginger, and white.

Bald: subspecies of Felian that have no fur.

Sekhru: subspecies of Felian that have grey-brown fur with cream underbellies and dark stripes that mimic the appearance of a skull on their face.

- Jackal: A relatively rare subtype of Lesser Canid, Jackals are found with surprising frequency in positions of power and wealth throughout Sabu. A Jackal's keen hearing and extraordinary sense of smell make them naturally effective at detecting stealthy opponents, whilst their association with Anubis benefits their charisma and aids them in leading others. An obsession with maintaining the purity of the bloodline means that Jackals are inbred to varying degrees and that no significant subtypes exist.

Demi-Jackal: Partially ascended who have the head of a Jackal but the body of a human.

Wild: subspecies of Jackal that have brown fur and black noses and skin.

Common: subspecies of Jackal that have black fur and black noses and skin.

Temple-Bred: subspecies of Jackal only find nearby temples or in the service of temples that have black fur and black noses and skin - they have gold tinted makeup applied at all hours on their lips, nose, eyebrows, eyeshadow, and nipples.

- Crocodilian: A vanishingly rare race in Sabu, Crocodilians are never found far from the banks of the Euphoris river. A particularly primal race. A Crocodilian is unmatched in the water, being both a naturally capable swimmer and capable of holding their breath for an extended duration. Their cold-blooded nature often dictates their station, known for being particularly capable at concealing their emotions.

Freshwater: subspecies of Crocodilian that have olive green scales and a warm yellow underbelly.

Saltwater: subspecies of Crocodilian that have dark green scales and a pale underbelly.

Nubian: subspecies of Crocodilian that have pale white scales with hints of pink.

- Draconid: One of many reptilian species that call Sabu home, Draconids come in many shapes and sizes but are the rarest of all species of Sabu. A Draconid’s thick hide and hardened scales grant them a natural defence against slashing attacks, whilst their ancient draconic bloodline affords some rare specimens an almost total immunity to fire. They have horns in various shapes and almost glowing slit-pupil eyes.

Demi-Draconid: Partially ascended who have the head of a Draconid but the body of a human.

Coastal: subspecies of Draconid that have dark scales and with vibrant hues between the scales with curled horns that point forwards.

Dahmur: subspecies of Draconid that have metallic scales and with vibrant hues between the scales with horns the curl backwards.

Northern: subspecies of Draconid that have metallic scales and with vibrant hues between the scales with horns that twist and branch like interlocking antlers.

Celestial: subspecies of Draconid that have dark metallic or iridescent scales with a multitude of horns that curl back.
