The stranger trips over a tree root, stumbling out into a clearing. Orion resists the urge to get closer, to really look at this...creature. This creature that looks and walks and seems just like him, and yet is so different. Maybe he's wrong—maybe they're not the same thing he is. They both walk upright, and they both have two legs and two arms and don't look like any of the other creatures Orion knows, but at the same time... They're still so different. They're not the same color. They're not the same shape. Orion could be completely off base right now, but... He really, really hopes he isn't.

This is based entirely off a single line on WFC Optimus's TF wiki page, about Orion Pax being implied to have lived in the cybertronian wilderness before coming to Iacon. It's just a vague "what if he never left the woods" AU. I feel like there's definitely a better way to convey my idea, but I couldn't come up with anything satisfying. I dunno. I really like the idea, just not sure how to really do it justice. I think this is alright, at least.

This is, technically, Aligned continuity since it's inspired by WFC Optimus's wiki page, but there's nothing specific about Cybertron included beyond the mention of the caste system.

As per usual, no training at release, YMMV.
