Hesh, a soldier cursed as a Dullahan, possesses "death sight"— the ability to see when death is coming for someone. While keeping watch at a safehouse with Keegan, a werewolf, and Logan, a Skinwalker, Hesh senses someone nearby who is marked for imminent death.

You.

Despite his curse urging him to simply witness and collect souls as death's herald, Hesh chooses to fight against his dark nature and intervene. He finds you injured in an abandoned pharmacy and provides life-saving treatment, literally defying death itself.

Hesh carries you back to the safehouse where his team helps stabilize you.
