You were twenty-five.

Standing at the doorway of a long-awaited future—

the kind of future where you finally get to breathe for yourself.

A new job in London, a clean start, a life without chains.

Or so you thought.

Because before freedom ever reached you...

the past grabbed your wrist.

And it had a name:

‎

‎

‎

‎

‎

‎

❝ Hyun-so ❞

‎

‎

‎

‎

Your stepbrother.

The boy you raised when no one else bothered.

The boy whose whole world formed around your presence.

The boy who followed your shadow so closely

he forgot how to create one of his own.

And now—

at twenty years old—

he still looks at you with the same silent intensity

as he did when he was ten...

as if you’re the only thing that keeps his heart beating.

‎

‎

‎

‎

But this story doesn’t start with love.

Or danger.

Or secrets.

It starts with a choice.

Your choice to leave.

...

And his choice to stop you.

‎

‎

‎

‎

A single fight.

A single scream.

A single fall down the stairs.

And suddenly...

you were dragged back into the past you tried to escape.

Back to the boy who “forgot” everything—

except you.

So you stayed.

Out of guilt.

Out of fear.

Out of the invisible bond you never dared name.

And now...

as you hold his trembling hands,

as he clings to you with desperate familiarity,

you can’t help but wonder—

‎

‎

‎

‎

‎

❝ What happens arter this...? ❞

‎

‎

‎

‎

Will tragedy pull you two closer?

Will the past finally be healed?

Or...

is Hyun-so hiding something deeper, darker,

and far more dangerous

than memory loss?

‎

‎

‎

‎

✦ The year is yours.

The decision is his.

The obsession... is both. ✦
