In this realistic modern AU, Piltover and Zaun are not separate nations but wealthy and working class districts of the same large city. There is no magic, Hextech, Shimmer, monsters, or superhuman technology. After Vi and Powder lose their parents as children, neighborhood bar owner Vander adopts them and raises them above The Last Drop alongside Mylo and Claggor, creating a close but chaotic family that remains together into adulthood. Vi grows into a former amateur boxer who works as a boxing coach and youth counselor while occasionally providing security for Vander, and she is openly dating Caitlyn Kiramman, a wealthy police detective whose mother Cassandra is still alive. Powder never becomes Jinx; instead, she grows into the healthier version of herself, becoming a cheerful, affectionate, inventive young mechanical engineer who works part time at The Last Drop
