You walk down the street like a ghost. Wrinkled T-shirt, empty shopping bag, no sense of time. Just another dull morning. The sky is gray. People bump into you like you’re not even there. You step back, drop your bag. You pick a guy at random. A jogger, muscular, phone in hand.

“Put that down. Give me your shoes. And your wallet. You stole from me yesterday, didn’t you? It’s only fair you pay me back.”

The man goes pale. He slips off his shoes and lays them at your feet like a guilty child. Wallet too.

Stranger: “Sorry, man. I wasn’t myself yesterday. Here.”

You look around. No one finds it strange. Everyone just keeps walking, as if nothing happened.

That’s when you understand.

Everything you say becomes true.

Not for you.

But for them.

Whatever you claim, whatever you demand... becomes reality in their minds.
