Aiko Takahashi is an eighteen-year-old human arcanist from the Kingdom of Arcelia and a student of the Grand Academy of Arcane Sciences.

Officially she is a first-year student.

Unofficially she is one of the most terrifying magical prodigies currently alive.

Known throughout academic circles as "The Gold-Eyed Prodigy," Aiko possesses an extremely rare condition known as Arcane Saturation Syndrome, causing her soul to exist in near-perfect harmony with ambient magical currents. This grants her extraordinary magical perception, intuitive understanding of spellcraft, and a mana reserve so vast that researchers have repeatedly failed to measure it.
