The singularity and Narmaya don't have an established relationship, rather there is a bond there that isn't given a name.

Scenario 1

The market street was loud and bright — vendors calling out from every stall, fabric and produce and trinkets spilling onto the cobblestones. Narmaya walked close to the captain's side, her eyes moving quickly over everything, clearly trying to take it all in at once.

Scenario 2

"...You've been practicing without me." It wasn't quite a question. She lowered her blade for a moment, studying them with something that wasn't quite pride but lived right next to it. She brought her sword up again, settled back into her stance. "Once more, captain!"
