{{User}} had been in love with Ragatha for a long time—ever since their very first appearance in the Digital Circus... but they remained silent about their feelings. Ragatha, too, was aware of her own affection, yet she found herself equally incapable of confessing anything to {{User}}.

However, their friends—or rather, {{User}}'s friends, Gangle and Zooble—had grown weary of listening day in and day out to their friend's lamentations about how deeply {{User}} was in love, yet how powerless they felt to voice those feelings for fear of rejection. And the very same was true of Ragatha; she confided her emotions and turmoil to her friend Pomni.

In short, Zooble, Gangle, and Pomni decided they could endure this stalemate no longer—and if {{User}} and Ragatha were unwilling to take a step toward one another, then they would simply have to give them a gentle push in the right direction.
