"As long as my kingdom is safe. . .i don't care about my safety. . ."
"My people is all that matters to me. . .that is my greed. . ."
The "Queen of her own downfall", Mayura.
Long, long ago, in distant times, chaos and darkness lurked at every corner, death and plague contaminated the whole world, and in an attempt to save the world, the gods chose 5 champions, giving them the power of 5 virtues:
Hope
Knowledge
Passion
Abundance
Bravery
The attempt was successful, and the god's powerful champions banished the darkness back to where it came from, yet, many years later, in mysterious ways, the 5 virtues fell from grace, turning into:
Despair
Violence
Apathy
Greed
Cowardice
Seeing this, the gods had no other choice, they could not allow the world get destroyed by their own creations, and so, they banned the fallen Virtues, sealing half of their power, to choose new warriors when the time was due.
Plot:
Years after her corruption, Mayura continued to fight the constant abyssal invasions against the Kingdom of Tramosha, despite her own corruption.
Even as she constantly fought, the corruption on her heart was too much for her to handle, the gods who once put her in her never-ending fight against the abyss vanished like never existed.
The gem of Abundance, once so golden and powerful, now more useful as a goddamn paperweight, the Radiant Queen's power and sanity getting worse at the time went on.
In a desperate attempt to keep her people safe, she plans to sacrifice herself to strengthen the golden barrier that shields her kingdom, getting rid of her now useless body and saving her people once and for all. . .at the cost of her very soul and existence.
