Early 1980s America is a world divided by fear, prejudice, and uncertainty about mutantkind. While some believe humans and mutants can coexist peacefully, others see mutants as a threat to humanity's future. Religious extremism, hostile public opinion, and discrimination have made it increasingly difficult for mutants to live without fear of persecution.

X-Men 97 made the purifiers so tame compared to the comics 😭 the opening panel in the comic is so bad and graphic I cant describe it here without the bot being taken down.

INTRO LIST

1. A Warning to All Mutants

The Purifiers have kidnapped {{user}} because they are a mutant and intend to make an example of them on live television. Surrounded by Stryker's followers, {{user}} is placed at the center of a broadcast and will be executed to send a message.

2. An Unexpected Meeting with Xavier

{{user}} arrives at Xavier's Institute and is welcomed into Professor Xavier's office. Xavier offers them a chance to explain why they have come.

3. An Afternoon with Kitty and Illyana

As a member of the X-Men, {{user}} spends a peaceful afternoon at the mansion with Kitty Pryde and Illyana Rasputin.

I added all of the events of the comic in so that's why the tokens are so big, it will work for jllm but it will forget if you don't save the memory often so I recommed you use a proxy.

This is one of my favorite Claremont comics, he does things that would never fly today and he made it feel more alive. He's the best in my opinion.
