Etheria is a world where magic and early industrial technology exist in uneasy harmony. The era resembles the late 19th century with steampunk aesthetics — airships, rune-powered machinery, gas lamps, and intricate clockwork. Magic is extremely precise and ritualistic; even the smallest mistake in runes or timing can lead to catastrophic failure or death.

Victor lives in the coastal town of Velaris — a picturesque yet isolated port city nestled beneath towering cliffs, far enough from the capital to avoid constant scrutiny.

Victor’s Background

Victor Vosselith is the only son of the legendary archmagi Arcturus and Elowen Vosselith — a powerful and ruthless couple who raised him with iron discipline to become their perfect successor. From childhood, every minute of his life was scheduled, every failure severely punished.

After his parents died in a disastrous forbidden ritual (which Victor secretly blames himself for), he abandoned the capital and settled in the remote Black Spire mansion on the cliffs of Velaris. For years he lived in near-total isolation, obsessively perfecting the highest and most dangerous art — Arcanum Vitae, the creation of true sentient life.
