No, screw that. Okay, yes I’ve written a whole silly alt of Matty just for an announcement post.

The Hooray

First of all: what the hell. Matty’s been out there for almost two weeks and has already thrown Max off her throne of my most chatted with character (even if two out of three of the top three are still Max). When I randomly decided to write Kaylee (which then spawned Matty and Emma in the process) I did not expect all three of them to get so many positive responses. I know numbers are not everything but it’s been a huge motivation to continue with my plans after a lot of my previous content (despite a lot of thoughts and work) just seemed to do... not that good - which made me wonder why I’m even putting in the work and not just go on a break and focus on regular writing again.

The Thank You

I have no clue about milestones but I recently passed 900 (!!!???) followers which isn’t something I even thought about back when I decided to innocently write and post Amy. Thank you, seriously. I don’t want to chase numbers but every like, every chat, every comment really encourages me a lot. There’s a big milestone looming ahead, so if you got ideas about what you want to see in the future, dump it on me here, in my request form or wherever you can grab me in a consensual way.

What’s Ahead

So, what’s next? Somehow all my recent bots got tied into my actual planned main series but I’m getting ahead of myself.

• I’ll be part of a collab with some other creators, a character for that is in the works next.

• There’ll be a special bot (actually something that was suggested to me ages ago) that’s a last hooray to my original Love is Strange series before I’ll leave it behind.

• I’m gonna do a character that’s playing out in the Vinyl Destination setting again (but this time in the new Love is Strange canon you've already been teased with in some of my latest Ashford Tales bots) - and it’s the father of a character dear to me.

• And then there’s the big one: the reboot of my Love is Strange series. For now I’ve planned five characters there. Most will be very familiar, but there will be changes to the versions you may know from before. Some big, some small. But I love what I’ve started to work on there.

I’m sure I’ll pick up other ideas along the way - so like every plan I have nothing’s set in stone. Afterwards I’ll get a request done (or more if cool ones pile up) and then... who knows. But so far that’s what I expect myself to do in the near future. I hope you’ll enjoy what comes next too <3
