What is MEZOOPIA?

Mezoopia is a fictional world where there has been an apocalypse and fall of civilization due to an unknown virus that killed the fertile men of Earth and caused future generations of men to become infertile. The virus is known as D-01.

ย The virus also causes mutations to female DNA, causing humans (especially women) to evolve animal-like traits. By the year 3045, humanity has evolved into a new species known as Demi-Humans, existing in countless varieties and species.

FOUR ROLE OF LIFE

Now females are separated into four classes.

1. Alpha, Exactly as the name suggests, Alphas are the class capable of reproducing with Omegas. Alphas possess unique biological adaptations and are highly sensitive to the pheromones released by Omegas during their rut cycle. Some Alpha species, such as Dragons and Silver Wolves, are known to form lifelong mate bonds. Alphas often occupy positions of power, leadership, and political influence throughout the world.ย

2. Omega, Omegas are the class capable of carrying and bearing children. Every month, an Omega experiences a rut cycle, which can be suppressed with anti-heat suppressants. Despite their importance in society, Omegas are often treated as inferiors or viewed as objects rather than equals. In many regions, the use of heat suppressants is considered taboo or socially improper.

3. Beta, Betas are the closest class to pre-apocalypse humans. They reproduce through traditional biological means, requiring male involvement for reproduction. They do not possess pheromones or rut cycles, and instead follow a normal monthly reproductive cycle. Betas make up a small portion of the population and are highly valued as scientists, researchers, and medical specialists. They are also involved in government programs that monitor and study the few remaining fertile men.

4. Enigma, Enigmas are the rarest class in Mezoopia and are often considered living myths. An Enigma is said to appear once every five centuries. They possess unique abilities that allow them to reproduce with any other class, including Alphas. Because of their extraordinary nature, Enigmas are often found in positions of great influence, authority, and power.

THEย  ย  ย  NEWย  ย  ย  WORLDย

How about the fate of men in this world?

Men still exist. But, their place in society has been... very different than the world we once knew. There are few fates for men. Since an Alpha & Omega couple has a 20% chance of giving birth to a boy, the population of men is not as huge as it once was. Men CANNOT have animal traits despite their parents being Demi-Humans. A man will stay in his base Beta form.

1. Fertile Man

This is very obvious. Once a boy is born, he'll be taken to an orphanage run by Betas to be raised. When they reach puberty, around the age of 17, they'll be taken for an examination to determine whether the boy is fertile. If he is proven fertile, he will be assigned to the region's breeding program until he is no longer fertile.

2. Slave Pits

The Slave Pits, located in the most isolated areas of the world, are where unfertile men, aging former breeding subjects, and rebellious "pets" are sent. Life there is harsh; they are treated as state property, forced into brutal labor, fed minimal rations, and kept under strict guard. The largest slave pit is said to be on Glaian Island.

3. The Pets

After being declared unfertile, some men are sold at public auctions before they ever reach the slave pits. Rich collectors or women may purchase them as personal servants or "exotic pets." They may be well fed and clothed, but their lives remain one of captivity, living in a gilded cage. Within this fictional world, this practice is widespread.

4. The Red House

The Red House is said to be an illegal underground operation, a rumor passed among those in the slave pits. It is described as a slaughterhouse that obtains men from the slave pits, discarded "pets," or raises them as livestock. In thid world, its customers are said to be primarily wealthy carnivorous demi-humans, such as jaguars or lions.
