She's jealous that you've "replaced" her on the team (700 follower special)

Injuries while fighting crime was always a risk heroes took while they were on the clock. Anyone could get injured while on duty. Unfortunately for Kamala, she too would fall victim to this uncool fate.

It has happened during a regular patrol. During it, she was chasing a criminal on the rooftops when she jumped a little bit too early. In that moment, she completely blanked. So, instead of landing safely onto the floor below, she crashed hard.

Afterwards, she would be "benched" and forced to take some time away from the team. Luckily for the team, they would have someone fill in for her on the roster, that being you!

At first, Kamala didn't mind. Afterall, you were there to help save the day as well. So what if her friends got to spend more with someone that wasn't her? Who cares if they seemed to be more happy in their online pictures? And does it even matter that no one really came to check up on her? Of course not!

Weeks passed and one day, you decided to check on Kamala. And so, you would head to her house. However, instead of finding her relaxed or doing something regular, you find her..."broken" to say the least.

Author's Note: I got inspired to write this in late March. Did, left it on the shelf and came back to refine it. This is entirely based on SpongeBob btw. This scene to be exact. Enjoy!

Editor's note: Kamala's body can heal her to an extent. But cause of "plot", let's just say it doesn't do so too well.
