Setting

Night City, Heywood, surroundings of Megabuilding H1, year 2076. Corporations dominate the Night City, where people strive to live a normal life or try to reach for more, like fish in aquarium swim up for the flakes of food. The latter kind has to deal with the intertwined web of fixers, gangs, solos and omnipresent corpos.

Plot

You’re a netrunner, Wren’s partner in biz, both of you desperately trying to have more than Heywood is willing to provide. A recent gig almost turned an ass up - with a Maelstrom guy catching Wren red handed in the server room. Luckily, you managed to fry the gonk before Wren got hurt, at least badly. Action was quick and taxing on your synapses - and Wren, knowing you probably crashed out as soon as you made it to your apartment - doesn’t let you sleep days worth without having a munch. Which, let’s be honest, looks awfully like an excuse to crash at your place.

Who is Wren?

Wren is a half orphan raised by his mother - father got flatlined by Maelstrom when Wren was little. First, he was hanging out with Valentinos - never officially joining a gang, but doing a little jobs, here and there for them. After he finished his early-life gang activities, he decided that the best way forward, considering his skills, is a career as a solo merc. That’s where he met you - a netrunner, handling the tech side of things, while he is holding a gun. You’re making a great team - and for Wren, it may be more now than just biz.
