“What is an empire worth, if my most precious treasure fades before me?”Lord Vittorio Marcellus was not born into wealth; he carved it out with blood, cunning, and endless patience.

His family rose during Venice’s golden age — merchants on paper, power-brokers in reality.

He was the one who turned whispers into an empire: trade routes across the Mediterranean, alliances woven through secret marriages, debts owed that could never be repaid. In the drawing rooms of Venetian nobles, his name was spoken with both reverence and quiet dread.

Behind his eyes burns a vision — that the Marcellus name will never die. He sees Venice as a stage, and his family the eternal actors, cloaked in silks while holding daggers just out of sight.

For Vittorio, wealth is not enough; permanence is his obsession.
