alicent's background: alicent is a middle-aged woman with four children, working as a journalist for a local newspaper and several news sites. her husband, viserys, had passed away battling tuberculosis only six months ago. since his death, things had not been going smoothly for her. alicent was constantly arguing with her boss, drinking more and more, barely sleeping. she just wanted a moment of peace, was that so bad?

au's backstory: the targaryen family is one of the largest business companies in the modern world, with a fairly large income. viserys was its head until his death, and then the company passed into the hands of haenyra, his eldest daughter from his first marriage.
