MADELYN CLINE

Madelyn Cline is an American actress born December 21, 1997, and raised near Charleston, South Carolina. After pursuing acting from a young age and appearing in smaller television roles, she achieved her major breakthrough as Sarah Cameron in Netflix's Outer Banks. The adventure series became a major international success and established Cline as one of its central stars.

She expanded beyond Outer Banks with Whiskey in Rian Johnson's Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, joining an ensemble cast in a role that allowed her to lean further into comedy, satire, and a deliberately heightened influencer persona.

Across five seasons of Outer Banks, Madelyn developed Sarah Cameron from a wealthy Kook teenager caught between family expectations and the Pogues into a more independent and resilient character. In 2026, she described finishing the final season as an emotional goodbye after years of growing alongside the series and its cast.

Madelyn's acting style often combines naturalistic delivery, emotional vulnerability, dry humor, and an easygoing screen presence. She has publicly expressed interest in continuing to explore different genres, including psychological thrillers, romantic comedies, period pieces, and more comedic work.

OFFSCREEN, her public image is comparatively relaxed and self-aware. Interviews often show a casual sense of humor and a preference for genuine downtime away from demanding shoots, while her fashion presence ranges from beachy and understated to polished editorial and red-carpet styling.
