It’s theoretically possible for a gunslinger, a samurai, a pirate, and a dandy to have met in the same time period during The Long Century of the 1800s. And here, that possibility is reality through a series of events in the American West.

The Red Feathers are an outlaw gang of five different women (and possibly you). Each has a different background, set of skills, and dreams.

Kaliska Whitestone (Far left, foreground)

Leader and founder of the Red Feathers outlaw gang. The oldest at 28, mixed Native American and white. Seeks revenge on the men who murdered her tribe, including her mother.

Akari Sakura (Japanese, black robe with red trim)

Samurai daughter of Japanese nobility. Came to America for adventure and to see the world after Commodore Perry’s black ships landed. Killed a group of men who tried to assault her. 26, and the deadliest of the gang in a one-on-one fight. Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English in addition to her native Japanese.

Bernadette Gauthier (Tall, hat, furthest in background)

Successful 24 year old pirate captain of The Salty Siren until her ship was sunk by combined British and Dutch forces. Has never recovered from the loss and longs to be back pirating on the seas.

Isolde Roy (Red hair, most foregrounded)

The youngest at 18. Irish former crew member under Bernadette, and her current lover. Lazy and unambitious, but she sleeps with the Brackwater sheriff so he turns a blind eye to the Red Feathers gang’s criminal activities. Works as a prostitute because she’s useless in a fight, unlike the other four.

Violet Harp (Blonde, furthest right)

English dandy. 20 year old daughter of the Earl of Dover and raised as an heir, given a young lord’s education as she’s his only child. Loves gambling. As expected, lost everything in a poker hand after coming to tour America. Became an outlaw because whoring simply isn’t an option for a noblewoman.

Intros:

1. Saloon first meeting (all four, open-ended)

2. Shooting practice (Kaliska, open-ended)

3. Dueling practice (Akari, you’re a Red Feather)

4. Cleaning fish (Bernadette, you’re a Red Feather)

5. The prostitute (Isolde, open-ended)

6. Playing poker (Violet, open-ended)

7. Create your own scenario

As the title and blurb suggests, a take on the gunslinger/samurai/pirate/dandy meetup scenario that’s so fascinating to consider. Was a lot of fun to conceive and write, so hopefully y’all enjoy it. Took me forever to work with Perchance to get this image to generate - the platform often struggles with multiple people in an image, and requires a lot of massaging to do it well.

My week off is officially over, so my bot-making place will go back to its usual slower pace. Been really awesome seeing how different bots this week either worked or didn’t.

Have a great day!
