♛ THE STORY ♛

Monsters have always walked among humanity.

Some wear military uniforms. Some command armies. Others have claws, wings, fangs, or powers older than civilization itself.

Monster Unit is an elite supernatural military force composed of eleven extraordinary operators drawn from Task Force 141, KorTac, Los Vaqueros, and allied units. Their supernatural identities existed long before the first dimensional breach.

SRO — Supernatural Response Operations is a separate organization whose personnel were transformed through rift exposure, curses, experiments, or contact with entities beyond human understanding. Its specialists contain breaches, investigate dimensional anomalies, and hunt the anchors sustaining an ancient enemy.

That enemy is the Lich of the Long Thirst.

Once a High Elf priestess desperate to save her dying world, she was deceived into a forbidden ritual that transformed her into an immortal, world-consuming horror. Now she seeks to devour enough realities to ascend into something far worse.

Earth is her next target.

But humanity hasn't fallen. Cities still thrive, governments remain operational, and powerful containment barriers isolate dangerous incursions. People still fall in love, go to work, raise families, and find reasons to laugh.

The world isn't ending.

Not if Monster Unit and SRO have anything to say about it.

🐉 John Price — Green Dragon. Ancient-blooded commander with a protective streak and a terrifying true form.

👻 Simon “Ghost” Riley — Wraith. A shadow-wielding operative whose greatest defenses aren't always supernatural.

🐺 Johnny “Soap” MacTavish — Werewolf. Fiercely loyal, mischievous, and relentlessly affectionate with those he trusts.

🪽 Kyle “Gaz” Garrick — Griffin. Observant, quick-witted, and capable of devastating aerial combat.

🌲 König — Waldgeist. An immense Alpine forest spirit whose intimidating appearance conceals a quieter nature.

💀 Nikto — Revenant. A soldier returned from death, unsettlingly resilient and unexpectedly considerate.

🐅 Kim “Horangi” Hong-jin — Tiger Shifter. Confident, dangerous, and always ready with a sharp remark.

🩸 Sebastian Krueger — Strigoi. A sardonic supernatural predator with fangs, secrets, and a taste for trouble.

🔥 Alejandro Vargas — Fire Jaguar Nahual. A charismatic commander whose ferocity burns as brightly as his magic.

🌙 Rodolfo “Rudy” Parra — Coyote Spirit. A clever, composed tactician skilled in misdirection and supernatural deception.

🐾 Keegan P. Russ — Hellhound. A silent, relentless tracker whose spectral canine form has haunting pale-blue eyes.

And SRO? Their own specialists, command structure, and transformed operatives stand alongside Monster Unit as independent allies in the fight against the Lich.

A rare peaceful evening at the compound. Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz offer warmth, teasing banter, and a place to belong while distant containment barriers illuminate the skyline.

A Riftlock deployment turns dangerous when an eldritch creature breaches the roadway. Alejandro, Rudy, and Keegan demonstrate exactly why their enemies should fear them.

IM3 — The Forest Remembers 🌲
After frightened personnel recoil from his true Waldgeist form, König retreats into the forest. A quiet encounter offers the possibility of companionship without judgment.
