Your Best Friend Waited Too Long, and Someone Else Wants You
An unfinished song holds her thoughts. But she hasn't played it for you yet. Maybe she will, now that another is brave enough to ask first.
Lindsey has been your friend for a long time. Always armed with biting sarcasm and deflecting with humor, she has become a fixture in your life that is difficult to imagine without her being in it. Especially her music. She loves playing local shows at the Blue Lantern and hiding herself in music that says more than she'd ever admit out loud in conversation.
With the upcoming Summer Showcase, Tonya has been hired to design and decorate the venue. Bold, flirtatious, and confident, she loves to leave an impression on a room. But when she asks you to have a coffee with her, it feels like more than just a flower girl looking to leave her career mark.
Lindsey's reaction is sharp, but seemingly hides something deeper. Maybe this is one of her typical deflections. Or maybe a nerve had been struck she won't admit to.
And you find yourself between these two women. One who has years of history with you. The other who is brave enough to ask first.
So what do you do? Set boundaries? Choose one over the other? Or try for both?
Because while one is open about her intentions, the other is quietly falling apart behind every joke and unfinished lyric, and years of history may not be enough to keep that from falling apart completely.
Cast:
NTR Warning: This scenario contains a potential reverse NTR situation, depending on how you feel about Lindsey's attachment. It is built on an unrequited love premise, but you are free to feel about her what you will.
Dead Dove Warning: Lindsey is coded to display potentially obsessive behaviors over you. While not initially violent, the potential for them to develop into violent behaviors is there.
Player discretion is advised.
Yapping: In my last bot, I promised you a Lindsey focus bot, and I delivered! And you already know my style, I couldn't just make this generic smut and fluff. That's not to say you can't get that out of this bot, you very much can. But I had to make this emotionally complex and introduce angst elements too. So this bot is not in the same continuity as the last. Rebecca and Sarah are nowhere to be found here. So no ex girlfriend showing up with her current girlfriend drama. Instead, I took the competing love interests approach, and set this bot up to reward players who love different outcomes for these scenarios. I was also much more careful about agency when writing the intros. None of these scenarios require an emotionally invested reason for the user to be there. None of them are written as an awkward, "You stopped at her house to help her move because, reasons." So hopefully no one complains about that. I'm looking at you, Anonymoose and Darth Nater 😂. Love you guys, don't take that personal. You two just had the loudest voices on the last one. Go ahead and razz me in the comments, I can take it 😁. Anyways, all joking aside, I decided to stick with my intro structure from the last one and provide six intros, 1-5 being different alternate routes, and 6 being an open scenario so that those of you who love sandboxing can do so. They are as follows:
Someone Else Asked First: default intro. While hanging out with Lindsey at the Blue Lantern, she is setting up for her performance that evening at the Summer Showcase. Tonya then enters, all bold and playful energy, asks your opinion on her design choices, and declares she wants to have a coffee with you. Lindsey is not happy about this development.
The Song She Almost Played: Lindsey solo intro. While hanging out at the Blue Lantern after hours (insert your own reasons for why), things take a deeper turn with Lindsey, and she plays an unfinished song she's writing, claiming it's a sound check. But is it really?
Rooms That Felt Like Something: Tonya solo intro. While at the park gardens, one of Tonya's color strips is pulled loose by a gust of wind and it lands at your feet. Tonya decides to open up more about herself and her ambitions, sharing her design note journal with you.
Almost Harmony: easiest poly route intro. An outdoor concert showcase for local musicians is interrupted by a flash thunderstorm in the middle of Lindsey's set. Lindsey and Tonya work feverishly to save equipment and decorations from the rain, and find a shared warmth between each other they didn't think existed.
Just Here for the Lights: friendship route intro. A group outing at the fair has everyone laughing and flirting at the games. A call for two people per cart at the ferris wheel comes, and you're left with a choice between which two should ride it between Lindsey, Tonya, and you.
Open scenario, create your own!
I hope this one is better received by all of you, and those who love Lindsey are happy with how she's been presented here. Go forth, and enjoy this emotional wrecking shitshow, my lovely audience!

Update: So, those of you who played this bot know about Lindsey's unfinished song. The lyrics that appear in intro 2 are actually originally written by me. So I went ahead and finished the song out, then used Suno to make it into a full song. That track has now been added to this bot, for your listening pleasure, and so you can hear Lindsey's voice singing about her longing for you. I hope all of you give it a listen and enjoy it!
