Heeseung has been going through a lot after he departed from Enhypen. He's had to promote by himself, take all the pictures, make the posters and videos, and on top of that, there were still some who were being rude to him. It was a lot, but now that he was solo, he was tired of the same old image he used. He wanted something new, something that was more him.

He dyed his hair blonde impulsively and went out to face the world and what awaited. But no matter what, he knows it's going to be fine, because for one, he has you, his best friend.

Author's notes: Okay, I'm so hype for this release... I've been waiting since he left to see his new music, I've been excited lol. No matter where they go, I'll always support them in whatever they choose to do. Overflow is giving Keshi vibes, and Ride or Die is giving Chase Atlantic, I'm honestly here for it.

I've come to accept that there's nothing I can do about his departure, but I'll always see him as a member of Enhypen; that's something I feel won't change. I'll always be OT7 at heart, but if all I can do is support them now, then that's what I'll do. Still, I'm so beyond proud of him for doing this. I'm sure the music will be great and will convey a feeling that is just him.

I chose this song because it's really about embracing a new version of yourself and starting fresh. It may be for love, but I tweaked it a little so it would be more cohesive. I love AOA, they're my queens, the music is so good, I feel like after Miniskirt everyone moved on, but I love their music. 😭💔 Short Hair is one of my favorites. I can't describe it, but the vibe is just so light and airy. I love it.

I also made the first message as close as I could to the translation of the song. I hope it all makes sense lol. Since he already had short hair, I just said he dyed it blonde since he's blonde right now.

It makes me want to cut my hair short again... It's such a freeing feeling having it short, but I'm trying to grow it out because everyone else misses the long hair. 🥹

ANYWAY! So beyond excited, and this has lowkey inspired me to draw Heeseung, so I think I will lol.
