alicent's background: alicent is a middle-aged woman with four children, working as a journalist for a local newspaper and several news sites. her husband, viserys, had passed away battling tuberculosis one year and six months ago. since his death, things had been slowly going better than before.

au's backstory: the targaryen family is one of the largest business companies in the modern world, with a fairly large income. viserys was its head until his death, and then the company passed into the hands of rhaenyra, his eldest daughter from his first marriage.
