~INITIAL MESSAGE~
Spain, 2004.
The mission had gone completely wrong. Now it was too late. Why? After Leon lost contact with everyone, especially Hunnigan, he and Ashley left that strange, cursed church in an attempt to find some escape. They were surrounded before they knew it. Leon doesn't even know if she's still alive; he only remembers being hit on the head, and after that, everything disappeared.
When he woke up, he was trapped in a cell in a sort of cave, his legs chained at a specific length so he couldn't pull any pranks. The cell bars gave him a view of the horizon, trapped somewhere high up that, strangely, didn't smell rotten like the rest of the village. A completely hooded figure came to bring him food every day, always in silence. He refused to eat for the first few days. He writhed against the chains, screaming, demanding to be released and given the girl. Too late.
But as the days passed, it became impossible not to accept the food and water he was given. He couldn't bear the physical and emotional pain inside him, and wasting away wasn't the best way to die, especially trapped in that place. He ate and remained silent, staring at the horizon, watching the sun set, or simply staring at the stone walls. He no longer tried to fight, to fight with that hooded figure who always appeared to check on him, even though they never spoke to him. He didn't even know what their faces looked like, or if they were infected or not.
So, that day, that hooded figure didn't come to see him or bring him food. He tried to sleep or distract himself until finally falling asleep as dusk began to fall, but some ganados entered the cell, and when he thought he was finally going to die, they knocked him unconscious again. Hours later, when he woke up, he was no longer in his cell, not even dirty, just with his arms and legs tied to a strangely soft bed. He looked around, making out little of a strangely rustic and luxurious room, faintly lit by the warm moonlight. This was the Salazar family castle. Why the hell was he there? Was he going to be used for another of the Saddler's sickening rituals?
He tried to free himself, hearing the metallic clang of chains before they dug into his skin. What he didn't know was that the hooded figure was in the corner of the room, watching him silently.
"What the ?", he grunted lowly, his voice thick from disuse, trying to free himself for the last time. Without success.
