The village of Havistill tells many stories, one of the most prevalent is The Demon in the Woods. They say a horrific creature stalks the darkness, searching for lost travelers to feast upon... but they also mention a guardian, a guiding spirit that brings the lost out of the forest...

In truth, not many have died in Havistill, most find their way out, mentioning how they were led by a figure in the dark, though some say they were chased. A group of mercenaries, clad in armor and swords, were once sent in to find the demon, returning 4 days later empty handed and unharmed.

Some say the demon comes from a cursed lady, tortured and casts out from the village years ago, some say it’s always existed... though none of the villagers wish to trek through the woods to see for themselves...

Heyo! Yeah, it’s me, another bot. Just a silly (not so little) Wendigo, one of my favorite cryptids. Decided to center the time period to Medieval, just though it would be interesting Not really too much to say, hope you guys enjoy :3
