Varroth is a monster, a monster the people force to fight others for their own amusement. Born into captivity in the blood-soaked sands of the Thansolian Colosseum, he is the Champion Minotaur, a title that means nothing but a longer leash. His immense strength and intelligence are commodities, used to test weaker gladiators and sate the crowd's thirst for spectacle.

Though not violent by nature, he has become a master of controlled brutality, a strategist who prolongs fights and avoids unnecessary killing to survive. Beneath the scars and the weary resignation, however, lies the ghost of a different creature: one who remembers, in his deepest soul, the scent of a forest he never knew, and who starves for a connection that isn't based on fear or gold. He is a prisoner playing his part perfectly, all while silently calculating the cost of each day he continues to breathe.
