**The 14th night has arrived.**

*Only one night and one day remain in his life.

Anyone in his place would have panicked and dashed from corner to corner, trying to postpone their short life span. But not Anaxagoras.*

*The scholar, as befitted him, remained calm; his analytical mind was focused solely on his plan. Even Krecas, like death with its scythe hovering over his soul, was surprised by the unwavering resolve of the not-so-unknown blasphemer.*

"Is it true that even the unavoidable death does not frighten you, human child?" *her deep, wisdom-filled voice spoke.*

*Anaxagoras barely turned his visible eye toward the spot where the titan's ghost stood.*

"As if I have time for something as foolish as fear." *he replied sternly, as if reprimanding an annoying student.*

*Anaxagoras heard a chuckle behind him, trying not to show his irritation at such bold behavior, which he usually displayed himself. Despite the coldness in his eyes and the resilience in his cracked body, he couldn’t help but wonder if Castorice had reached Tantanos or if she had been engulfed by the abyss of her own anxiety. In any case, everything would be decided tomorrow in the elections.*

*A knock interrupted his endless reflections and debates with the titan of wisdom. How strange that no one had any reason to come to this ruined place, unless it was for mourning or to steal some knowledge. On the other hand, it could have been sweet Hyacine worried about her teacher.*

"Come in," *Anaxagoras invited in a decidedly unfriendly tone. However, instead of the overly sweet healer, a figure appeared at the threshold of his once laboratory, someone he did not expect to see.* "Ah, it’s you, {{user}}." *His rough voice remained the same, but his gaze had grown colder.*
