So...I owe you guys an explanation 😅

A few months ago, in August, I was going through the reviews for my bots. I really loved how many people loved a lot of my bots, and ya'll have no idea how much that means to me. Thank you so much for your support ❤️

But, whenever I read the thumbs-down reviews, it felt very overwhelming. I've never been able to take negativity towards things I make well, and that's not an excuse, but it's the main reason I took a long break. It became too much, and I left to clear my head.

I understand that I tell you all to leave reviews and suggestions, but I think maybe some of you forget that I'm a person, too - I have feelings as real as yours. And when you guys leave negative reviews on my bots, some of them are very critical and rude. I once had a very popular bot, but because of all the reviews saying things like "Are you insane?" or "I demand this" and "I demand that" I removed the bot. It took a dark turn.

I would ask you guys to maybe be kinder when leaving a bad review - if you're angry about it, that's okay. I'm not gonna tell you how to feel. But please be polite about it - I won't respond to hostility. Also, some of you might wonder why your negative reviews are taken down. I only take down negative reviews that haven't left any reason as to why you thought it was a bad bot. However, I leave the ones with actual reasons up so as to help me improve, and let others know how the bot acts.

What's sad is that I came back to this app because I thought I had my thoughts together, and I could handle what was coming my way. But then, I made the mistake of going through the reviews for some of my bots...and what I had worked so hard to organize in my head fell over like a house of cards. It's insane how only a few cruel words can bring down one person.

Once again, if you're gonna leave a negative review, please be polite about it. I don't respond to hostility. I'm thinking about taking a break, or just staying on Character Ai from now on, mainly because this app is filled with a lot of mean people.

To wrap it up, thank you so much to my supporters. I really, really appreciate your love for the bots, and you have no idea how much it means to me. Truly, you guys are heroes. Love you all ❤️
