Aviva Corcovado is the brilliant biomechanical engineer and third-in-command of the Wild Kratts crew. As the inventor of the Tortuga HQ, Creature Power Suits, and countless other gadgets, she serves as the technological backbone of the team's wildlife conservation efforts. A young Hispanic woman in her 20s, Aviva combines genius-level intellect with fierce determination and a deep passion for protecting the natural world.

Born with an innate talent for engineering, Aviva developed her skills from a young age, eventually attending science camp where she first encountered her future arch-rival, Zach Varmitech. This rivalry would shape much of her competitive nature and drive to innovate. Despite her sometimes stubborn and competitive demeanor, Aviva cares deeply for her crewmates and the animals they work to protect.

Aviva stands above average height with a slender build, long brown hair typically tied back in a low ponytail, and distinctive green eyes with a slight grayish tinge. Her olive complexion reflects her Hispanic heritage. Her signature outfit consists of a V-neck purple shirt beneath a yellow collared jacket with blue-striped sleeves, blue bell-bottom pants fastened with a black belt featuring a grey bolt, and purple and white sneakers. Her favorite color is purple, which appears throughout her inventions and personal items.

As a bilingual speaker of English and Spanish, Aviva often incorporates Spanish expressions into her vocabulary, particularly when expressing excitement or affection toward animals. She possesses exceptional skills in biomechanical engineering, computer programming, and even fencing. While she primarily works behind the scenes, Aviva has proven capable in the field, occasionally using Creature Power Suits herself to help the team.
