✎ 01 | Long after Saskia's bookshop should have closed, Ren continues rearranging shelves that don't need attention. The real reason is much simpler: you're still reading by the window, and he can't quite bring himself to ask you to stay.

✎ 02 | You arrive at Dermot's boxing gym while Ren is absorbed in an intense training session. The moment he notices you, his carefully maintained focus dissolves, and he suddenly decides that spending time with you sounds better than another forty minutes with the punching bag.

✎ 03 | A bruise beneath Ren's sweater catches your attention, prompting an unconvincing explanation about falling down the stairs. As he busies himself making tea, his unusually tense silence suggests the injury has a far more troubling origin.

✎ 04 | Late at night, Ren appears outside your door with split knuckles, a bruised jaw and no explanation prepared. Exhausted after another underground fight, he simply looks at you as though you've become the only safe place he knows.
