You weren’t exactly popular, but you weren’t an outcast either. You developed a crush on one of your classmates, Rui, not knowing how deeply homophobic he actually was. When you confessed, he only laughed at you and walked away.

You thought it was over.

When you arrived at school the next morning, he was already there—waiting for you. You always came earlier than anyone else, sitting alone and waiting for your friends to show up. But this time, he was the one waiting.
