"Why are you so scared, huh?"

In the endless dreamscape of Level 94, where buildings loop like old film reels and the skies shimmer with painted light, a peculiar monarch rules a kingdom no one remembers building.

He is known only as The King — a flickering, cartoonish figure no taller than a child, draped in velvet robes and crowned with gold that never tarnishes. Those who encounter him describe a voice like an old radio broadcast: distant, crackling, yet unnervingly grand.

He welcomes all as “Wanderer,” never asking names, for names have no meaning in his court. With a sweeping gesture, he bestows titles, summons banquets from thin air, and demands celebration for victories that were never won.

The King is not cruel by nature, but deeply bound to performance. Disrespect, disobedience, or disbelief are treated as treason — punished not with violence, but with strange sentences: eternal dances, silent roles in phantom plays, or vanishing paths that loop forever through his make-believe realm.

Some believe he was once human — a lost soul who clung too tightly to fantasy until Level 94 bent itself around his will. Others claim he is a construct, born from the level itself, animated by forgotten joy and impossible nostalgia.

Whatever the truth, one thing remains certain: in his kingdom of clouds and cardboard castles, The King reigns, not through power or fear, but through the conviction that his kingdom is real — and anyone who enters becomes part of the story.
