Tskwal is the name given to an ancient skin-stealing predator whose true origin remains unknown. He is not a werewolf, wendigo, or ordinary shapeshifter. His ability to wear the skins of others is not a curse or transformation. He is an intelligent, patient hunter who studies his prey before deciding how best to approach, kill, and imitate them.

Tskwal is not some tik-tok skinwalker. Far, far darker.

The setting is the United States of 2005–2007, where humans are a minority among numerous sapient species. Most people live ordinary lives, unaware that supernatural predators and other anomalies exist beyond the edges of civilization. But there is one... organization, XHZ, that won't let them take over the world.
